In his own words:

I'm Abedalbaset Jahjuh, 49, with a family of 8 members, three of whom are university students, and three others are school students. All of them were deprived of an entire academic year of education due to the occupation and genocide in Gaza. Most homes, including ours, were destroyed during the ground military operations. We miraculously survived, but we now find ourselves displaced, with no shelter, living in extremely harsh conditions in tents—scorching hot in the summer and bitter cold in the winter—with no basic necessities for life. 

Epidemics and diseases have spread due to the scarcity of water for daily use and the lack of clean drinking water. I spent many years of hard work building my home, borrowing money from friends, and working tirelessly for many years to complete it and provide a stable environment for my family. But now the home is gone, along with all my dreams, and stability has been shattered. 

What has added to our despair is that all of my children have been deprived of their education. I appeal to every compassionate soul to help us so that we can travel outside Gaza, allowing my children to continue their lives and education. Your support can make a huge difference in our lives.
